THE PROCESS

Initial Interview - We meet to discuss your project's requirements and scope of work. Shortly afterwards, we'll present a design agreement tailored specifically to the project.

Schematic Design - We present a design that meets the project requirements and scope. Depending on the agreement, we may present 2 or 3 designs, fine-tuning it according to your input.

Design Development - We add more information & details to the approved design. This begins the process that will ultimately result in complete construction documents.

Permitting - Once working drawings are complete, you as owner or the builder may submit them for permitting, ensuring they meet building code & other local requirements.

Engineering & Shop Drawings - We collaborate with engineers, specialty installers and other colleagues as needed. Of course, their fees are not included in ours.

Construction Documents - This is the final set used for construction. It includes working drawings & all other information gathered during design development.
